Duncan Smith

Duncan Smith is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in software development across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Cambridge Consultants since May 2022 and as a Senior Scientific Software Engineer at the Met Office since October 2021, Duncan has specialized in climate model verification. Previous roles include Interview Engineer at Karat and Python Developer at Bromium, as well as engineering positions focusing on C++ and Python at ETAS and BNP Paribas, where Duncan contributed to FX development. With extensive experience dating back to a Software Developer role at Honda Racing F1 starting in 2001, Duncan holds a BSc (hons) in Computer Science from the University of Leeds, earned in 1997.
