Katie Watts

Katie Watts has extensive experience in HR and recruitment, spanning over 16 years. Katie has held various roles in different companies, starting with their work as an HR Generalist at ClientLogic in 2001. Katie then moved on to positions such as Interim HR Advisor at Eversheds and Interim HR Advisor - Recruitment at Wolseley.

In 2004, Katie joined the University of Warwick, where they worked as a Resourcing Manager and later as an Interim Recruitment Manager and HR Advisor. During their time there, they were responsible for recruiting over 650 positions annually and achieved significant cost savings.

After their tenure at the University of Warwick, Katie held the role of Interim HR Manager (Recruitment and Resourcing) at NHS Walsall and later worked as an Interim HR Consultant (Recruitment) at the University of Birmingham. At the University of Birmingham, they played a key role in improving the senior appointments service and managing the recruitment process for high-profile, international positions.

Katie then took on the role of Interim HR and Recruitment Manager at Showsec International Limited, where they provided comprehensive HR advisory support to the business and managed the company's recruitment service. Following this, they joined Click Travel Ltd. as the Head of HR and Training, where they were responsible for all HR functions and internal learning and development.

Most recently, Katie has been working as the Head of HR at Cambridge & Counties Bank since 2017. In this role, they support the business in all aspects of people management, develops commercially-focused HR solutions aligned with the bank's strategy, and ensures successful implementation of the HR framework.

Katie Watts attended Kimbolton School from 1987 to 1994. Katie pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Human Resource Management at Staffordshire University from 1994 to 1998.
