Donna McDade Walker

Donna McDade Walker has extensive work experience in the field of marketing. In 2022, they began their role as Global Head of Product & Marketing at Cambridge Epigenetix. Prior to this, they served as a Board of Advisors at Firefinch Software from 2020 to 2022. From 2017 to 2020, they held the role of Senior Director, Marketing and Head of Digital Strategy and Senior Director, Global Marketing at Twist Bioscience, where they were responsible for all marketing activities worldwide and managing a team comprising Digital Marketing, Product Management, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations and Customer Success & Experience. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Agilent Technologies, where they held the roles of Microfluidics Business Site Manager and Product Marketing & Support Manager. From 2006 to 2011, they were Global Diagnostics & Distributor Manager, DNA Product Manager, and Senior Applications Scientist at Lab901 Limited.

Donna McDade Walker has an extensive education history, beginning with their BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from the University of St Andrews (1994-1998). Donna then went on to obtain an MSc in Neuroscience from The University of Manchester (2002-2003) and a PhD in Molecular Neurobiology from the University of Glasgow (2003-2006). Most recently, they are currently enrolled in an Executive MBA program at Quantic School of Business and Technology, focusing on Business Foundations, Corporate Strategy & Strategic Leadership (2022-2023).
