Bipul Islam

Bipul Islam is a Senior Data Scientist at Cambridge Mobile Telematics, having joined the India Data Science team in March 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Stony Brook University as a Senior Data Scientist and Research Assistant in Biomedical Informatics, where a doctoral thesis focused on robotic vision problems. Additionally, Bipul worked as an Associate Data Scientist II at Zendrive, contributing to data science projects related to driving safety and system health tracking. Earlier experience includes internships and research in cryptology and optimization techniques at the Indian Statistical Institute and a summer internship at Strand Life Sciences, along with a strong academic background with a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Stony Brook University and degrees in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute and West Bengal University of Technology.
