Luuk Coopmans

Quantum Machine Learning Scientist at Cambridge Quantum Computing

Luuk Coopmans has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Orderpicker at CEVA Logistics. In 2014, they worked as a Werkcollege-assistent at Radboud University and as a magazijnmedewerker at CEVA Logistics. In 2017, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Trinity College Dublin and as a Research Scholar at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Quantum Machine Learning Scientist at Cambridge Quantum.

Luuk Coopmans completed their VWO at Mondriaancollege in 2013. Luuk then attended Radboud University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Natuur- en Sterrenkunde in 2016. After that, they pursued a Master of Science in Theoretical Physics at The University of Edinburgh, which they completed in 2017. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin in 2021.
