Steve Metts has a vast and diverse work experience in various security and management roles. Steve started their career in 1974 with the U.S. Coast Guard, serving for over 22 years and rising to the position of Chief, Law Enforcement/Search and Rescue. In 1996, they transitioned to the private sector as the Yacht Club Marina Manager at Lighthouse Point Yacht and Raquet Club.

In 1997, Steve became the Director of Marine Operations at the Bahia Mar Resort and Yachting Center, where they managed a large marina and its security operations. Steve then moved on to work as Director of Security at Woodfield Country Club and Boca Pointe Country Club, where they were responsible for the day-to-day security and access operations of these private country club communities.

From 1998 to 2015, Steve held various management roles at AlliedBarton Security Services, including Operations Manager and District Manager. In these positions, they oversaw security operations, client service, quality assurance, and financial operations of multiple customer accounts.

In 2015, Steve joined Cambridge Security Services as the Senior Director of Operations. In this role, they led the company's security guard services, partnering with clients from various industries to deliver effective and budget-friendly security solutions nationwide.

Throughout their career, Steve Metts has demonstrated a strong background in security management, operations, and customer service, with experience in both public and private sectors.

Steve Metts, FCPP, CHS-III has a diverse education history. Steve has completed courses in Organizational Leadership at the Coast Guard Leadership and Management Academy, Homeland Security and Law Enforcement at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Federal Records Administration/Administrator at the National Arhives and Record Management School, Search and Rescue and Crisis, Emergency, and Disaster Management at the National Search and Rescue School, and Military Science, Leadership, and Operational Art at the U.S. Air Force Air University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Critical Incident Stress Manager from the U.S. Coast Guard, Federal Law Enforcement Officer from the U.S. Coast Guard, Florida Crime Prevention Pracitioner (FCPP) from the Office of the State Attorney, Homeland Security - CHS-III from the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute (ACFEI), and various security-related certifications from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
