Eric Cioffi

Eric Cioffi has extensive experience in risk management and compliance. Eric began their career as a Bank Examiner with the Massachusetts Division of Banks, where they ensured regulatory compliance with state and federal consumer protection laws. Eric then worked as a Senior Consultant at Wolf & Company, performing comprehensive reviews of financial institutions' compliance programs and assisting in regulatory examinations.

Cioffi later joined Fleet Boston Financial as a Senior Compliance Officer, where they supported foreign and domestic business lines in regulatory risk management and provided technical support and legal expertise. Eric then joined Sheshunoff Consulting + Solutions as the Director of Compliance Audit and Consulting, overseeing a team and developing compliance audit programs.

Cioffi continued their career at Wainwright Bank & Trust as the VP of Risk Management - Compliance and Audit and at Winchester Co-operative Bank as the Risk Officer - Compliance & Audit. In both roles, they designed and implemented comprehensive compliance risk management programs, developed policies and strategies, and ensured compliance with regulations through audits and monitoring reviews.

Currently, Cioffi is the SVP Director of Enterprise Risk and Compliance at Cambridge Trust Company, where they lead the company's risk and compliance initiatives.

Eric Cioffi has a strong educational background with multiple degrees and certificates. Eric attended Saint Michael's College from 1985 to 1990 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science. Following this, they enrolled at Quinnipiac University School of Law from 1992 to 1995, where they completed their Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a specialization in Law. Moving forward, Eric attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and Wharton School of Leadership from 2012 to 2014 to further enhance their expertise. Finally, Eric obtained an Enterprise Risk Management Certificate from the ABA Enterprise Risk Management School, which they completed in 2018.
