Operations Director at Cambrionix

Martin Cable has a long and varied career in operations and continuous improvement. Martin began their career in 1996 as a Production Manager for Harefield Advanced Technology (Cardiac). In 1997, they moved to Ranier Technology Limited as a Continuous Improvement Group Manager and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Martin was responsible for supervising a team running and managing six sigma projects, as well as co-inventing the CAdisc-L artificial spinal disc. In 2015, they were hired by Envigo as a Continuous Improvement Project Manager and Project Leader. Theirresponsibilities included delivering basic 1hr to 2 day manager training events, and delivering projects to support further Continuous Improvement opportunities. In 2018, they moved to Bespak as a Lean Manufacturing Deployment Manager, where they were responsible for the development and execution of the Lean Deployment strategy. Finally, in 2019, they joined Cambrionix Ltd as an Operations Director.

Martin Cable has a diverse educational background. Martin obtained their Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Quantic School of Business and Technology in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Ph.D from Brunel University London in 1995, with a field of study in Polyurethanes for blood contacting applications. Martin also obtained their BSc from Brunel University London in 1992, with a field of study in Materials Science and Technology.
