Fernando Garcés Daza

Fernando Garcés Daza has a diverse work experience. Fernando is currently working as a Strain Engineer at Cambrium. Prior to this, they worked as a PhD Student at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. Main, where they focused on their research from July 2017 to June 2021. Fernando also worked as an Intern R&D at Sanofi from October 2016 to July 2017. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as an MSc Thesis researcher at Wageningen UR (University & Research centre) from February 2016 to September 2016, and as an Intern at Universitat de Barcelona during September 2014 to December 2014. Before that, they worked on their BSc thesis and gained experience in genetic engineering at Wageningen UR (University & Research centre) from February 2014 to July 2014. Prior to their university studies, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Universitat de Barcelona from September 2013 to January 2014. Fernando also completed an internship at Univerzita Komenského, Bratislava during the summer of 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Mathematics Teacher at IES Salvador Espriu from January 2013 to May 2013. Fernando'searliest work experience was as a Botones (Bellboy) at Grupo Hotelero Gargallo from June 2008 to September 2012.

Fernando Garcés Daza has a Master's Degree in Bioprocess engineering from Wageningen University & Research, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry at Universitat de Barcelona from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained additional certifications in Entrepreneurship from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in November 2019, and a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from the Ministerio de Educación in July 2014.
