Dawn Wiest

Director For Action Research And Evaluation at Camden Coalition

Dawn Wiest has over 15 years of work experience in various research and academic roles. Dawn most recently worked at the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers as the Director for Action Research and Evaluation, where they led research initiatives and evaluations. Before that, they were the Associate Director and Senior Research Manager at the same organization. Prior to their time at the Camden Coalition, they worked at the American College of Physicians as a Senior Research Analyst. Dawn Wiest also has experience in academia, having worked as an Adjunct Professor at Rowan University and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Memphis. Dawn also held research and teaching positions at the University of Notre Dame and the University of Notre Dame Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager at the Transnational Social Movements Research Project and as a Research Associate at the Women's Prison Association.

Dawn Wiest obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Temple University in 1996. Dawn then pursued a Master of Arts in Sociology at Stony Brook University from 1997 to 2001. Dawn continued their education at Stony Brook University and completed a Ph.D. in Sociology between 2001 and 2006.
