Sunny Min has a diverse work experience in the field of education and leadership. Starting in 2021, Sunny has been the Director of Teacher Residency and Talent Development at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy, where they lead a Design Team to build a Teacher Residency Consortium and oversee the strategic implementation of teacher development. Prior to this role, Sunny served as the Manager of Teacher Leader Development at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools from 2018 to 2021. They also worked as a Teacher Engagement Manager at Teach Plus from 2016 to 2018 and as a Linked Learning Coach/Education Specialist at the Center for Powerful Public Schools from 2014 to 2016. Sunny has experience as an Impact Coach at City Year from 2013 to 2014 and as a Studio Manager at Dirt Empire in 2012. They began their career as a Teacher at NYC Department of Education from 2007 to 2011 and worked as a Tutoring Program Coordinator/Tutor at Facilitating Leadership in Youth from 2003 to 2007. Sunny Min's education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled at American University and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs. This program lasted until 2007. In 2006, Sunny Min had the opportunity to be a Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley.

Following their undergraduate studies, Sunny Min attended City College of the City University of New York from 2007 to 2010. During this period, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Social Studies Education.

To further their education, Sunny Min attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education from 2012 to 2013, where they completed a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Education Policy and Management.
