Yasith Fernando

Yasith Fernando has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Yasith started their career as an intern at Unilever Sri Lanka in 2009. Yasith then moved on to work at Zillione Business Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, where they served as a Management Trainee and later as a Business Solutions Specialist. In these roles, they gained expertise in ERP applications, business analysis, project management, and customer service. Yasith also conducted product demonstrations and trainings for staff and students.

In 2012, Yasith joined PT Montraco as an Agent, overseeing operations and business development for an Indonesian coal mining and financing company.

Currently, they are working at Camms, where they have held multiple positions since 2013. Yasith started as a Business Analyst, responsible for analyzing and designing business and functional requirements. Yasith then progressed to roles such as Senior Business Analyst, Team Lead, and Product Manager. In their most recent positions, they served as the Head of Product Management, Head of Product Development, and currently holds the title of Vice President Product Engineering. In these leadership roles, they have been involved in product integration, project management, and overseeing the performance of projects.

Yasith Fernando holds an MBA degree in Master of Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Staffordshire University from 2006 to 2009. Yasith also holds a BSc. Computing (Spec. in IT) degree from Staffordshire University, which they earned from 2005 to 2009. Yasith completed their high school education at S. Thomas' College Mount Lavinia from 1992 to 2005, where they received their Ordinary Level qualification. Yasith has also obtained several certifications, including Certified Professional Scrum Master from Agile Great, Software Architecture: Patterns for Developers from LinkedIn, Executive Leadership from LinkedIn, and MBCS from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
