Lisa Courtney

Lisa Courtney has a diverse work experience in the camping and resort industry. Lisa started in 2008 as the Recreation Director at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp Resort in Nashville, TN. During their time there, they successfully led a recreation program, created engaging themed activity schedules, and developed activities that brought consistent returns on investment for two consecutive years. In 2011, they were promoted to General Manager, where they effectively managed all aspects of the resort's operations, surpassing sales goals for three consecutive years and implementing customer-specific marketing strategies to increase site nights. In 2019, Lisa joined Camp Jellystone, the franchisor of Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resorts, as a Sales Manager. Lisa later advanced to the role of Director of Franchise Sales and Support, where they excelled in driving sales growth and providing support to franchisees.

Lisa Courtney obtained their Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Volunteer State Community College in 2017. Lisa then went on to pursue their Bachelor's degree in Leisure, Sports, and Tourism Studies at Middle Tennessee State University from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their degrees, Lisa also obtained the Outdoor Hospitality Professional (OHP) certification from the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) in February 2014.
