Alex Joynson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. They started their career at Real Asset Management as a Sales Account Manager, where they managed a portfolio of over 200 accounts, including government sectors and commercial companies. In 2010, they joined Mondelēz International, initially in roles such as Business Development Executive, Sales Executive, and Category Development Analyst. They then progressed to roles like Customer Marketing Analyst, Shopper Activation Manager, Sales Revenue Planner, and Customer Category Development Manager, handling responsibilities for various confectionery brands and key grocery channels like Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Waitrose. In 2016, Alex founded and owned the Wearwell Cycle Company, a successful online and retail business for high-end cycle clothing and accessories. They later scaled and sold the company in 2023. Currently, Alex works at Campari Group as the Head of Ecommerce and holds the position of National Account Controller for Tesco Booker.
Alex Joynson has a Bachelor's degree in Geomatic Engineering from UCL, earned between 2003 and 2006. Alex also attended Shrewsbury School from 1998 to 2003. In addition, they completed the WSET Level 1 Award in Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
