EVP & Chief Supply Chain Officer at Campbell Soup Company

Daniel L. Poland joined Campbell in January 2022 as Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer.

Dan leads Campbell’s end-to-end supply chain including procurement, food safety and quality, occupational health and safety, engineering, planning and logistics, as well as our manufacturing locations and our contract manufacturers network, that continue to report into the company’s divisions. He is focused on building high-performing teams and driving execution to continue to deliver growth and ensure we have a resilient, robust, and agile supply chain.

Dan offers extensive experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry to Campbell having served in senior supply chain, operations, plant management and research and development roles both with large, leading corporations and high-growth companies. Prior to joining Campbell, he was the Chief Operating Officer of KIND Snacks from 2019 through 2021.

Before that, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Pinnacle Foods. He spent several years as Vice President of North America Supply Chain for WhiteWave Foods. Earlier in his career, Dan spent approximately 15 years at H.J. Heinz Company, where he held roles ranging from Plant Manager through Chief Supply Chain Officer of Heinz North America. He began his career with Gerber and Nestle.

Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in agricultural engineering from Michigan State University and his Master of Business Administration in business and finance from the University of Iowa.
