Shaina Shapiro

Shaina Shapiro has extensive experience in education and camp management, having served as an Administrative Assistant and Tour Guide at Camps Equinunk and Blue Ridge since June 2009. Shaina conducted tours for prospective campers, supervised children during activities, and managed unique medical situations while planning schedules. Additionally, Shaina held the position of Assistant Group Head, overseeing a team of 14 counselors and 55 campers, organizing daily activities, and coaching sports teams. Currently, Shaina is an Elementary School Teacher at the NYC Department of Education, with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Developmental Psychology, both from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior educational achievement includes graduation from Hewlett High School in 2010.
