Svetozar Georgiev

Svetozar Georgiev has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Svetozar is currently a General Partner at Eleven Ventures since May 2023. Previously, they served as the Chairman of the Board at BESCO - The Bulgarian Startup Association starting from June 2022. Svetozar also held the position of Member Board of Trustees at the American University in Bulgaria from May 2022. Prior to that, they were a Board Member at Заедно в час / Teach For Bulgaria starting February 2021. Svetozar also has experience as a Co-Founder at Campus X since February 2018 and Telerik Academy since January 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked at Progress Software, where they held multiple roles, including SVP, Application Platforms from December 2014 to December 2016 and Co-CEO from May 2002 to December 2014.

Svetozar Georgiev began their education at Truman State University in 1995, although the degree obtained during this time is unknown. From 1996 to 2000, they attended the American University in Bulgaria, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Svetozar also holds a certification as an AUBG Donor, obtained from the American University in Bulgaria in November 2017.
