Alex Larzabal

Alex Larzabal has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2002, Alex worked as a Webmaster for the Dr. Enrique Cabrera School of Medicine.

In 2005, they joined Valencia College and took on multiple roles, including Computer Lab Aide, Technical Document Specialist, Student Accounting Systems Support Specialist, Programmer Analyst, IT Manager, and ultimately Director of Enterprise Applications and Decision Support Services. They also briefly served as an Adjunct Professor in 2014.

In 2011, Alex co-founded Palmes LLC and worked as an Ellucian Banner ERP Technical Consultant.

From 2013 to 2015, they co-founded and served as the CTO/CDO of OneCloo, where they developed a software application for anonymous social interactions and led machine learning projects.

Starting in 2015, Alex joined CampusWorks, Inc. as a Senior Technology Executive and later became the Director of Technology Services in July 2022.

In 2017, they also worked as a Consultant for Humboldt International University.

In 2020, Alex founded Quantitativa LLC as a Founder and Quant.

Alex Larzabal has a diverse education history. Alex obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Springfield, graduating in 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Florida State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Before transferring to Florida State University, Alex attended Valencia College, where they earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies from 2005 to 2007. In terms of their high school education, Alex received a High School Diploma from the Vocational High School Institute of Exact Sciences Vladimir Ilich Lenin between 1999 and 2002.

Alongside their formal education, Alex Larzabal also holds several certifications. Alex obtained these certifications from reputable institutions, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, HubSpot Academy, and Sun Microsystems. Some of their notable certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and Sun Certified Java Programmer. These certifications highlight their expertise in cloud computing, software architecture, and programming.

Furthermore, Alex has also participated in an Executive Leadership Program, called PIVOT 360, offered by Valencia College in 2015. This program emphasized developing leadership skills and was an invitation-only opportunity.
