Javon Brame has a diverse work experience starting from 2007 to the present. Javon currently works at CampusWorks, Inc. as an Engagement Manager and previously held the position of Senior Optimization Executive. Prior to that, they were the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs & Dean of Students at Arapahoe Community College from 2019 to 2022. Javon also worked at Community College of Denver as the Director of Advising, Retention and Persistence from 2017 to 2019 and as the Director of Student Support Services from 2016 to 2017. Before that, they worked at Community College of Aurora as the Special Projects Coordinator and Assistant to the Vice President for the Division of Student Affairs from 2012 to 2016. Javon also had a role as the Corporate Relations Co-Chair at the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce Leadership Foundation from 2013 to 2014. In addition, they gained valuable experience at Langston University as a Student Manager-Office Assistant to the Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs from 2007 to 2011. Javon also worked as a Sales Associate at Nike EMEA in 2008. Prior to their higher education and corporate roles, Javon had internships at the City and County of Denver in the Economic Development and Workforce Development departments.
Javon Brame holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Langston University. Javon also obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from the University of Denver. In addition to their formal education, Javon Brame has obtained a certification in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Coursera in June 2020.
