Hakan Tetik has had an extensive career in project and program management. Hakan began their career in 2000 as a Project Manager for IT Outsourcing Transitions at IBM. Hakan then became a Global Transition Manager for Disaster Recovery and a Program Manager for Data Center Builds and Migration. In 2015, they moved to Xerox as a Global Program Manager for IT Transition & Transformation Services. Most recently, in 2021, they joined CAN Softtech Inc as a Senior Software Project Manager. In this role, they manage software project teams using Agile SCRUM practices and Waterfall methodology to develop a web-based application for a US government agency. Hakan is responsible for planning the blueprints for each project, coordinating with the client for their specifications and requirements, determining and overseeing consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products, and translating strategy into comprehensive cross-functional project plans.
Hakan Tetik obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance from SUNY New Paltz. In 2015, they received a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from The Project Management Institute (PMI). In 2018, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Aveta Business Institute.
