Kris Head has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and positions.

Starting in 1997, Kris worked as the Director of Wellness Centre at Grace Villa Nursing Home, where they developed physical strengthening and reactivation programs for residents in long-term care centers.

In 2001, Kris joined Lifemark Health Group as a Physiotherapist, treating musculoskeletal injuries and specializing in shoulder injuries. They eventually became the Clinic Director, overseeing exceptional growth and an expansion of injury rehabilitation and prevention programs. Additionally, Kris served as an Area Manager, focusing on developing clinical and administrative staff to provide the best healthcare possible.

In 2014, Kris transitioned to Calgary West Central Primary Care Network, working as the Clinical Services Manager. In this role, they managed an allied health team and ensured interdisciplinary care within physician offices.

Kris also worked as a Principal at Kris Head Consulting from 2013 to 2017. They consulted with professional regulatory bodies to design evidence-based continuing competency programs, prioritizing public safety and the positive evolution of the profession.

From 2014 to 2021, Kris held various roles at Lifemark Health Group, including Director of Operations and Vice President of Operations for the Prairie region. They led significant growth through acquisitions and operational improvements, expanding the region's clinics and staff.

Most recently, Kris served as the VP of Operations at VetCare Canada, overseeing the acquisition and operation of veterinary practices across Canada.

In August 2022, Kris will begin working as the Chief Operating Officer at Canada Diagnostic Centres.

Overall, Kris Head has demonstrated expertise in operations management, healthcare administration, and consulting, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and driving growth.

Kris Head holds a Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) degree from the University of Calgary, which was obtained between the years 1990 and 1994. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Muscle Physiology from the University of Calgary between the years 1995 and 1997. In 1999, Kris Head attended the University of Toronto and completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (BScPT) degree from 1999 to 2001. Later, in 2012 and 2013, Kris Head studied at the Royal Roads University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Management Consulting. Additionally, Kris Head obtained certification in Acupuncture from the AFCI (Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute) in June 2002.
