Crysta Whalley

Manager, Chapters at Canada Learning Code

Crysta Whalley is the current Community Success Manager at Canada Learning Code. Crysta has previous experience working as the Code Mobile Education Lead Kelowna from May 2018 to December 2020 and Area Support Manager at Scouts Canada from August 2014 to February 2018. In their role as Area Support Manager, they provided field support and resources to volunteers in order to facilitate the Canadian Path program for about 1300 youth. Crysta also worked on key projects such as working with members of the Mormon church to ensure their different assets and challenges were supported and advocated for re-structuring the Council to ensure better support to both Mormon and community Scout Groups. Crysta is dedicated to their work and is always looking for ways to improve the programs they are a part of.

Crysta Whalley has a MA in Sport from The University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Anthropology and English from The University of British Columbia Okanagan, and various certifications from Respect Group, Mental Health Commission of Canada, Little Warriors, Alberta Motor Association, National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, and Scouts Canada.

They work with and Zara Chaudhry - Community Success & Partnerships Coordinator. Crysta Whalley reports to Nicole Asquith, Director of Community Success & Partnerships.
