Camille Santos has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and government sectors. Camille started their career as a Research Assistant at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, where they worked from October 2017 to June 2019. Camille then joined Red Maple Trials Inc. as a Clinical Research Assistant from July 2019 to December 2019.

In January 2020, Camille joined the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, initially working in the President's Office as a Student until June 2020. Camille then transitioned to the role of a Junior Analyst in the Strategic Partnerships Unit, where they supported the team in preparing materials and analysis for federal, provincial, and territorial meetings. Camille conducted research, provided strategic advice, and contributed to intergovernmental activities and policies until July 2021.

Currently, Camille works as a Clinical Research Assistant at CADTH, a position they have held since August 2021.

Camille Santos holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Health, Science, Technology, and Policy from Carleton University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nutrition Sciences at McGill University. In addition to their formal education, Camille has obtained several certifications. These include "R: Interactive Visualizations with htmlwidgets," "Creating Maps with R," "Data Wrangling in R," and "Data Visualization in R with ggplot2," all obtained from LinkedIn. Camille also completed the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans Course on Research Ethics (TCPS 2: CORE) offered by the Government of Canada in September 2016.
