Heather Grab

Heather Grab has a diverse work experience background. Heather currently holds the position of Director, Legal and Compliance at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), starting in October 2022. Prior to this role, Heather held various positions at Tervita Corporation from 2019 to 2021, including Senior Legal Counsel & Corporate Secretary (General Counsel Functionality) and Interim Senior Legal Counsel. Heather'sresponsibilities at Tervita included managing all aspects of the Legal Department, handling legal matters, due diligence, corporate governance, and regulatory obligations. Heather also played a key role in the acquisition of Tervita in 2021. Before joining Tervita, they worked at Newalta from 2011 to 2018 as Senior Legal Counsel & Corporate Secretary, where they were the sole lawyer managing all legal functions of the corporation. Additionally, Heather has experience as an Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP (formerly Macleod Dixon LLP) from 2007 to 2011, specializing in general corporate commercial matters. Heather began their career as an Intern at SHL Group USA Inc. from 2002 to 2004, assisting with industrial and organizational psychology research.

Heather Grab completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained their LLB degree from the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law in 2007.
