Mia Golder has extensive experience in the healthcare and research sectors, currently serving as the Associate Director of Portfolio and Performance at Canadian Blood Services since January 2014. Previous roles include Manager of Strategy and Reporting and Manager of Research and Training Programs at the same organization, as well as Research Coordinator at the Centre for Innovation. Mia's academic background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, focusing on LDL receptor regulation under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Lagace, and a PhD in Pathology and Molecular Medicine from Queen's University, where the thesis investigated thrombogenic factors under Dr. David Lillicrap. Additionally, Mia holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Life Sciences from Queen's University and has experience as an instructor for mini-enrichment courses in Pathology and Molecular Medicine.
