Dylan Buskermolen

Interim Manager, Advocacy at Canadian Cancer Society

Dylan Buskermolen is an experienced professional in public engagement and advocacy, currently serving as the Interim Manager for the Advocacy team at the Canadian Cancer Society since May 2019. In this role, Dylan manages public-facing advocacy campaigns and strategic communications at all government levels. Previously, Dylan held positions as a Senior Advocacy Specialist and Advocacy Specialist, focusing on registered lobbying and connecting with elected officials and media. Additionally, as a Fundraising Specialist, Dylan achieved a remarkable 41% increase in fundraising for the Relay for Life Youth Program in Eastern Ontario. Prior experience includes serving as a Residence Leader at Queen's University, where Dylan facilitated orientation and organized engaging events for incoming students. Dylan earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science and Global Development from Queen's University from 2015 to 2019.
