Jennifer Wilson

Vice President Research Programs at Canadian Cancer Society

Jennifer Wilson has worked in various roles in the field of research programs and operations. Jennifer started their career in 2002 as an intern at Pharmacia. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University Health Network. Jennifer then joined the Ontario HIV Treatment Network in 2007 as a Manager of Research Funding & Development. In 2012, they moved to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, where they held positions as Senior Manager of Knowledge Translation & Program Development and Senior Manager of Research Programs. In 2017, they joined the Canadian Cancer Society and held various roles, including Interim Director and Director of Research Operations, before becoming the Vice President of Research Programs. Jennifer has expertise in grant program management, strategic planning, policy interpretation, and research program analysis.

Jennifer Wilson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Queen's University from 1998 to 2001. Jennifer then pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research at Humber College from 2001 to 2002. Subsequently, they enrolled at Ryerson University and obtained their Bachelor of Health Administration degree in Health Service Management between 2003 and 2009. Currently, Jennifer Wilson is pursuing further education at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Education, specializing in Freelance Science, Medicine, and Public Health Writing since 2014.
