Sheila Dong

Vice President, Communications at Canadian Cancer Society

Sheila Dong has a strong background in communications and public relations. Sheila has held various roles at the Canadian Cancer Society since 2012, including Vice President of Communications, Director of Strategic Communications, Senior Manager of Strategic Communications, and Manager of Media Relations and Communications for Western Canada. Prior to their work at the Canadian Cancer Society, Sheila worked as an Account Director at Peak Communicators Ltd., where they provided strategic counsel and media relations support to a range of organizations and managed a team of staff and contractors. Sheila also has experience as a Reporter at CKNW News-Talk 980.

Sheila Dong pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English and Psychology from 1998 to 2002 at Simon Fraser University. Sheila later attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism.
