Mike Haas has extensive experience in IT leadership roles. Mike began their career as a Second Level Support Tech at CBC in 1999. Mike then worked as a Network Administrator at Sullivan Entertainment Inc. from 2000 to 2002. At Sullivan Entertainment Inc., they later became the Director of Information Systems, where they oversaw all IT functions and drove E-Commerce plans and strategies. In 2006, Mike joined Cookie Jar Entertainment as an IT Manager, responsible for project managing IT infrastructure growth. Mike later became the Director of IT, leading strategic IT integrations with Decode and planning the combining of two networks and systems. Mike then joined DHX Media in 2012 as the Director of IT and later became the VP of IT, leading a global department and overseeing standardization of infrastructure and systems. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Interim Senior Director of IT at The MasterCard Foundation. Most recently, they have been working at CIFAR as the Interim Director of IT.
Mike Haas has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Lake Superior State University. Mike also holds a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification from CNTLC and an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification from the Academy of Learning. Furthermore, Mike has completed a program in Electronics Engineering Technology from RCC College.
