Zlatko Minev is an accomplished technical lead and manager at IBM since October 2018, focusing on Qiskit Leap research and Qiskit Metal, and has successfully founded and led a global team engaged in quantum computing research. At CIFAR, Zlatko serves as an Associate Fellow in the Quantum Information Science program. Additionally, Zlatko is an active member of the Yale Alumni Association's Board of Governors and the Graduate School Alumni Association (GSAA). Zlatko founded and directed Open Labs, a national organization promoting science outreach and careers pathways. With extensive experience in quantum computing, bolstered by a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Yale University, Zlatko has made significant contributions to superconducting quantum circuits and related fields throughout a diverse academic and professional career.
