Senior Methodologist, Data Governance at Canadian Institute For Health Information

Olga Krylova is a Senior Methodologist in Data Governance at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), with a focus on statistical disclosure control and data de-identification techniques since January 2012. Krylova has demonstrated leadership as a Program Lead by managing multiple projects, integrating equity into data analysis, and effectively leading teams during the release of critical reports such as those related to COVID-19 hospital stay costs. Krylova has also contributed to advanced analytics as a Program Consultant by developing innovative tools such as a health system capacity planning tool and a microsimulation model for predicting chronic disease burdens. Additionally, Krylova serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa's School of Epidemiology and Public Health. Krylova holds a PhD in Mathematics and Epidemiology from McMaster University, along with multiple advanced degrees in Mathematics from prestigious institutions.
