Trent Swainson

Trent Swainson, PSL, is an experienced professional in the land management sector, currently serving as a Surface Landman at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) since November 2022. Prior to this role, Trent held various positions, including Senior Project Manager and Consulting Landman at LandSolutions LP from October 2019 to December 2022, as well as Independent Consultant from June 2016 to September 2019. Trent's background includes significant contributions as a Land Agent for the Government of Alberta and an Office Manager/Surface Landman at Traverse LandGroup Ltd. Trent has also owned and led operations at East Central Land Ltd. and worked as Field Team Lead for the Heartland Transmission Project. With a foundation in land management education from Lakeland College, Trent has developed a comprehensive skill set over a career that began in 2003.
