Sara Urowitz

Director, Research And Innovation at Canadian Partnership Against Cancer

Sara Urowitz is the Director of Research and Innovation at the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, where she supports the implementation of research strategies. She is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto in the Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation department. Previously, Sara worked as the Executive Director at the Canadian Cancer Research Alliance and as a Manager at Cancer Care Ontario, where she led the growth of the palliative care program. Her experience also includes managing survivorship centers, conducting research, and developing online social networking communities for cancer survivors. Sara holds a PhD in Health Policy and Bioethics from the University of Toronto, among other degrees in health policy and religious studies.
