Joanne Levy

Joanne Levy is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in television production, regulatory affairs, and strategic consulting. Currently serving as Commissioner for the Manitoba and Saskatchewan Region at the CRTC since July 2018, Joanne previously owned Scorpio Productions Inc., where expertise included producing television programs and providing regulatory affairs consulting. Additional roles include Head of Convergent Content at Buffalo Gal Pictures Inc., Executive Producer at 4 Square Entertainment, and Director of Programming for the world's first Aboriginal TV network. With a BA (Hon) in Political Science from the University of Saskatchewan, Joanne's career spans several decades and includes significant accomplishments in Canadian TV production and leadership development within the media industry.
