Mozhgan Sepehri, Ph.D. is an experienced researcher with a strong focus in soil science, plant-soil interactions, and microbiology. They have served as an Associate Editor for the Canadian Science Publishing's Canadian Journal of Soil Science (CJSS) since January 2021. Prior to that, they held multiple editorial roles at Frontiers, including Review Editor of Plant-Soil Interactions / Frontiers in Agronomy since September 2020, Associate Editor of Frontiers in Microbiology since July 2018, and Associate Editor of Frontiers in Plant Science from an unknown start date.

Mozhgan Sepehri, Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Soil Sciences from Shiraz University between 1996 and 2000. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Bio and Phyto-Bioremediation of heavy metal contaminants at the University of Tehran from 2000 to 2003. Finally, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Soil Science from the University of Tehran, which took place between 2003 and 2009.
