Michael Bourgeois

Michael Bourgeois is an experienced legal and legislative representative currently working with the Canadian Union of Public Employees since February 2022. Prior to this role, Michael served as an associate and articled clerk at Wickwire Holm from February 2019 to February 2022, and as a specialist in labour relations at Canada Post / Postes Canada from September 2017 to January 2019. Michael's legal background includes a position as a paralegal for BOYNECLARKE LLP in early 2017 and contributions as a law student at Dalhousie University, graduating in 2016. Additional experiences include volunteering as an author for the Legal Information Society of Nova Scotia, research assistance at the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, and teaching assistance at the University of New Brunswick. Michael holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Dalhousie University and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Economy from the University of New Brunswick.
