Ismel Perez

Ismel Perez, FCLS, CIFI, CFE, currently serves as a Senior SIU Investigator at Canal Insurance Company, a position held since July 2014. Prior to this role, Ismel was a Deputy 11 at the Greenville County Sheriff's Office from June 2013 to August 2014. Ismel's extensive law enforcement background includes serving as a Detective, Traffic Enforcement Officer, and Uniform Patrol Officer with the City of Coral Gables from June 2001 to June 2013, along with earlier experience as a Uniform Patrol Officer for the Village of Miami Shores from October 1999 to May 2001. Ismel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and an Associate in Arts in Criminal Justice from Miami Dade College.
