Osi Ivowi

Osi Ivowi has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Osi began their career as a Graduate Engineer at NHBC in 2001. Osi then worked at KBR, Inc. as a Civil/Water Engineer, where they focused on hydraulic modeling and river defense strategy. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Civil Engineer at Jacobs, where they contributed to various flood alleviation projects for the Environment Agency. Ivowi then joined Halcrow as a Civil Engineer, specializing in land development projects. In 2008, they joined Canal & River Trust (Formerly British Waterways) as a Senior Engineer, responsible for maintaining waterway assets and implementing asset management procedures. Osi later became the Infrastructure Services Regional Manager (South) at Canal & River Trust, overseeing the delivery of infrastructure services. Most recently, they are working as the Principal Engineer at Canal & River Trust, leading the implementation of the asset strategy and risk management approach for the organization.

Osi Ivowi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Osi then pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering at London South Bank University from 1995 to 1998. In addition to their academic background, Osi Ivowi also holds certifications in various fields. Osi obtained the IAM Certificate from The Institute of Asset Management in September 2022 and achieved a Level 3 Team Leader / Supervisor certification with distinction from ILM in August 2019.
