Richard Baker

Principal Engineer South at Canal & River Trust

Richard Baker has over 30 years of work experience in the engineering field. Richard started their career as a Senior Engineer at Aspen Burrow Crocker in 1988 and worked there until 2001. Following that, they joined British Waterways Board as a Development Manager from 2001 to 2007, and then as an Operations Works Planner from 2007 to 2009. Richard was later promoted to the role of Principal Engineer at British Waterways Board from 2009 to 2012. Currently, Richard is working as a Principal Engineer South at Canal & River Trust since 2012.

Richard Baker attended Beverley Boys School from 1975 to 1982. Richard then enrolled at the University of Portsmouth from 1983 to 1985, where they did not receive a degree. Later, from 1987 to 1990, they studied at Kingston University and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree (BEng). The field of study for their BEng degree is not specified.
