Christy Strashek, CFA

Christy Strashek, CFA, has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Christy began their career in 2006 as an Equity Research Associate at Canaccord Genuity Inc., where they focused on power, pipelines & utilities and played a key role in initiating and maintaining coverage of 20 companies. In 2009, they joined Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management Canada as VP, Retail Products Group, where they researched and evaluated a variety of investment opportunities across multiple sectors. In 2013, they moved to Assembly Stakeholder Relations as VP. In 2017, they joined Adaptable Capital Management Inc. (ACMI) as an Equity Research Analyst, where they invested long and short primarily in U. S. In 2019, they became Director of Research at Canalyst. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as an Independent Board Director at Tier One Silver.

Christy Strashek, CFA has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained between 1999 and 2004, with a focus in Finance and Marketing. In 2006, they obtained their CFA from the CFA Institute.
