Sachin Rao

Sachin Rao has worked in the finance industry since 2015. Sachin began their career as an Internship at Reliance Capital | Reliance Group, where they then moved on to become an Investment Associate- Venture Funds and Associate- Investment Strategy. In 2020, they joined Student Investment Advisory Service (SIAS) as a Portfolio Manager. In 2022, they began working as an Equity Research Associate at Canalyst and a Money Advisor at G&F Financial Group.

Sachin Rao has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from PESIT BSC, which they obtained in 2015. Sachin is currently in the process of obtaining an MSc in Finance from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including the Global Bloomberg Trading Challenge in 2021 from Bloomberg LP, the McGill International Portfolio Challenge (MIPC) in 2021 from McGill International Portfolio Challenge (MIPC), Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) in 2021 from Bloomberg LP, PowerPoint Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365) in 2020 from LinkedIn, and Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365) in 2020 from LinkedIn.
