The Information Technology (IT) Support Engineer This position is primarily responsible for providing quality technical and operational support for all system technologies of the organization as well as providing hardware support.

We are looking to immediately fill this full-time position in our New London, NH office.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide hardware support to internal and external clients
  • Provide hardware training to internal and external clients
  • Perform hardware testing
  • Support, troubleshoot, and maintain computer servers and networks
  • Help manage our electronic support ticketing system
  • Monitor client systems and databases
  • Troubleshooting and providing technical support to employees
  • Performing regular security tests and security monitoring

Expertise Required:

  • Microsoft Workstation (Win7, 8, 10) and Server OS’s ( 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019)
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and .NET
  • Cloud platforms including Office365, JIRA, Zendesk
  • Tech troubleshooting
  • Server and network performance monitoring and evaluation
  • Computer software and hardware testing methodologies
  • Communication technologies including 2.4/5GHz WiFi, radios, modems, satellite
  • Solid knowledge of networking protocols, DNS, TCPIP, DHCP, Active Directory

Expertise Desired:

  • Programming and scripting including SQL, Python, Javascript, VBScript, FileMaker
  • GIS platform deployment and management
  • Server backup & restore
  • VMWare
