Alejandra Hergert

Alejandra Hergert is a skilled professional with extensive experience in community outreach and educational support. Currently serving as a Community and Employment Outreach Developer at CanAssist at the University of Victoria since March 2022, Alejandra focuses on engaging and empowering individuals facing employment challenges. Previously, as a Baristas Program Facilitator at Pacific Community Resources Society from March 2014 to November 2022, Alejandra delivered tailored workshops and coached at-risk youth in overcoming barriers to employability. Earlier experiences include working as an International Student Advisor and Marketing Assistant at Alexander College, where Alejandra enhanced international student recruitment efforts, and volunteering as an English Lecturer at Kenyan Methodist University. Alejandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of British Columbia and a Career Development Practitioner Certificate from Simon Fraser University.
