Lisa R. Upshaw

Lisa R. Upshaw has a strong background in regulatory compliance and quality assurance in the medical field. Lisa R. has worked for Cancer Research And Biostatistics (CRAB) since 2018, where they have held the positions of Director of Quality Compliance and Director of Quality and Regulatory Compliance. In these roles, Lisa has been responsible for managing clinical regulatory and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with clinical trial regulations, and developing strategies to minimize organizational risk. Prior to joining CRAB, Lisa worked at Bloodworks Northwest from 2003 to 2018, where they served as a Regulatory and Compliance Manager. In this role, they led the regulatory department and oversaw operations across multiple departments, acquiring and maintaining licenses throughout the United States and leading product licensure submissions to the FDA. Lisa also held the positions of Quality Systems Specialist and Cellular Therapy Lead Technologist at Bloodworks Northwest.

Lisa R. Upshaw holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Regulatory Affairs from the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. Their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree is in Biological Sciences from Wright State University. Lisa also completed their high school education at Yokota High School. Additionally, they obtained the ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence certification in March 2012 from ASQ - World Headquarters.
