Graham Cadwallader

Graham Cadwallader is the Head of Clinical Research at Cancer Research UK, where leadership is provided for the development and implementation of a comprehensive clinical research strategy. Responsibilities include overseeing the ECMC Programme Office, which manages a network of 29 centers across the UK focused on early phase clinical trials and innovative cancer treatments. Previously, Graham served as Director of Strategic Projects at Manchester Metropolitan University, successfully leading a business transformation office for the large institution. As Director of Strategic Funding at the University of Manchester, a new team was built to enhance research capability and develop partnerships. Earlier roles included Neuroscience Strategy Coordinator at University College London, where significant increases in research funding were achieved, and Programme Manager at the Medical Research Council. The academic background includes a PhD in Molecular Biology and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Birmingham.
