Chuck Rekiere

Chuck Rekiere has extensive work experience in the field of engineering, with a focus on embedded system software development. Chuck started their career as a Digital Hardware Designer at GTE Network Systems in 1987 and then moved on to become an Embedded Systems Firmware Engineer at AG Communication Systems, where they developed software for board support packages and device drivers. In 1999, they joined Mayan Networks as a System Engineer before transitioning to a role as a Senior Principle Engineer at Performance Software Corporation from 2000 to 2002. From 2003 to 2017, they worked at Hewlett Packard as a Senior Firmware Engineer, specializing in the development of embedded system software in various languages. Chuck then joined Cradlepoint in 2017 as a Software Engineer before moving to Candela Technologies, where they held positions as a Senior System Engineer, Technical Manager, and currently serves as the Technical Director of Engineering.

Chuck Rekiere holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Antennas and Electromagnetics from Arizona State University. Chuck also earned a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communications from the same university. In addition, Chuck pursued a minor in Mathematics and completed the thesis option for their Master's Degree.
