Richard Birt

Richard Birt is a seasoned professional in leasing operations with extensive experience in managing and analyzing leasing agreements across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Leasing Operations at Canderel Group since July 2023, Richard oversees leasing operations throughout Canada, guiding brokers and property managers in tenant relations and documentation. Prior to this role, Richard spent over a decade at Canderel in various positions, including Manager of Leasing Services, where responsibilities included developing leasing offers and maintaining legal documentation for over 2 million square feet of leased space. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Property Administrator at Rogers Communications, where Richard managed landlord relations, and work in support roles at TD Canada Trust Wealth Operations and the Ontario Ministry of Finance. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Toronto - Innis College.
