CMO at Candy

Andre Llewellyn is the current Chief Marketing Officer at Candy. Prior to joining Candy, Andre served as Global Brand Marketing at Instagram from February 2016 to June 2021. While at Instagram, Andre launched the company's first brand campaign in France to drive user acquisition and usage. Andre then expanded Instagram's brand campaigns into a multi-channel, multi-market effort to support Stories awareness and usage in Germany, Italy, and the United States. The campaign was ranked #3 by AdWeek in 2017.

Andre also launched Instagram Shopping's first holiday campaign featuring 55 partner brands. In addition, they developed and launched a strategy and brand campaign to introduce Interests in the US. Andre also operationalized the creative development of all of Instagram's growth acquisition campaigns by implementing a development and review system across 2 creative agencies and multiple internal teams.

As the lead for brand communications at Instagram, Andre managed a brand communications review process for all external communications, promotions, and events. Andre also developed and launched Instagram's first ever brand guidelines and brand resource center. Finally, Andre led brand communications in support of Instagram's new brand identity and re-designed logo launch.

In total, Andre managed the brand-driven launch strategy and asset development for 25 product launches, including Instagram Live, Stories Highlights, Polling Stickers, and other key Instagram products.

Andre Llewellyn has a MBA in Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Urban Planning from University of Virginia.
