Kevin D. O'Neil is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research management, having served as Managing Director and Director of Research and Training at CANet since November 2015. O'Neil implemented network strategies and liaised with investigators and research participants to address their scientific needs. Prior to CANet, O'Neil was a Research Officer at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, where significant contributions included the successful acquisition of a $26 million grant for the Cardiac Arrhythmia Network of Canada. O'Neil's earlier roles include a postdoctoral fellowship at Western University focused on corrosion mechanisms in nuclear fuel containers and various teaching assistant positions, during which O'Neil facilitated student learning in chemistry and laboratory procedures. O'Neil holds a Ph.D. in Physical and Analytical Chemistry and a B.Sc. in Materials Science, both from Western University.
