Frederic Bessette

Frederic Bessette is an experienced leader in total rewards and human resources, currently serving as the Director of Total Rewards at Canfor since February 2019, overseeing global compensation, retirement, benefits, and employee well-being programs. Prior roles include Director of Total Rewards and HR Administration at Seaspan ULC, Principal in Total Rewards and Compensation Strategies at Mercer, and various senior compensation roles at organizations such as the City of Montreal, Ubisoft, and Intact. Frederic holds multiple certifications in Human Resources Management and earned degrees in Industrial Relations from Université Laval, supplemented by organizational leadership training from Ivey Business School at Western University.
